Jane
has always loved animals, particularly cats! Having had cats
for as long as she can remember, she has developed a natural
understanding of cats and has the ability to communicate and
interact with them from the heart. Long before she started Catatude
in 2004, Jane always enjoyed taking care of other peoples’
cats in addition to her own. After a long career in the corporate
world, she decided to pursue a longtime goal of starting a business
doing what she loves and created Catatude.
Jane is a volunteer with the Dutchess County SPCA, and is associated
with Friends of Animals, and Operation Blankets of Love. She
is an advocate and donor for numerous worthy causes for animals.
Jane utilizes a growing network of veterinarians, rescue facilities,
pet sitters and animal care professionals in order to continually
learn and share information about pet care. As a result, she
is better able to refer clients to whatever resources might
assist them.
Jane is a member of Pet Sitters International, American Humane,
ASPCA, The Humane Society, and the Association for Pet Loss
and Bereavement.
Jane is originally from Brooklyn, and recently moved back to
New York after living in Los Angeles since 1983. She now resides
in the Hudson River Valley. Jane is a Kitty Mom to her own 2
cats, Mousepaw and Carson.
